Bridgehaven has an immediate opening for an Art Therapist (Mental Health Therapist). 

This full time position, under the direction of the Clinical Manager and Chief Operating Officer, has the following essential functions:

Our team works together in a passionate and flexible model allowing you to bring your personal creativity and therapeutic strengths in offering members space to practice everything they learn in their 1:1 and group therapy sessions.

Bridgehaven works with adults with severe mental illness in order to stabilize symptoms, offer guidance in finding meaning/purpose with relationships and self, and assists in achieving stronger connections to the surrounding communities.

While our Art Therapist assists in providing engaging activities, parties and groups, the associate also counsels members in the moment either thru facilitating positive /functional social interactions or debriefing with those in conflict. Our team nourishes lives, remove barriers and creates a sustainable, thriving community by healing.

Education: Master's degree in Mental Health, Human Services or Psychiatric Nursing; LCSW, LPAT, LPCC, APRN credentials accepted—clinical supervision included

Bridgehaven has an immediate opening for an APRN. This full time position, under the direction of the Clinical Manager and Chief Operating Officer, has the following essential functions:

• Managers designated caseload of members

• Develops Individual Rehab Plan (IRP) with goals and interventions based upon initial & on-going assessments, member’s needs, preferences, strengths and abilities

• Reviews/revises IRPs, ensures engagement and provides ongoing implementation of plans

• Promotes orientation of new members and active participations of all members

• Facilitates discharge process and develops discharge plans for members

• Conducts Readiness Assessment for initial IRP and at specified intervals during rehab process

• Provides outpatient individual therapy

• Conducts outpatient therapy groups and TR as needed

• Maintains accurate and timely documentation of clinical services

• Covers for LPN during times away from office

• Responds to medical emergencies occurring on premises

• Responsible for Bridges to Health Clinic to promote integration of physical and mental healthcare to improve outcomes

• Promotes physical health with members (Weight Loss, Hypertension, Diabetes, Smoking Cessation and Fitness Activities)

• Assists with Peer Specialist Coaching, when needed

• Develops and conducts wellness and medication education and management classes for members

• Conducts annual In-Service training programs

• Stocks First Aid kits, calibrates Accuchex and tests AED

• Coordinates annual TB Screenings for staff

• Responsible for on call/crisis phone approximately 4 times per year

• Participants in team meetings, case reviews and rehab planning sessions

Education and/or Experience: APRN with current Kentucky license. Master’s degree in Psychiatric Nursing or related field with certification as a Psychiatric/Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist or as a Psych APRN. Five years of experience is advance practice psychiatric nursing, preferably in a community-based setting.
