Reducing Hospitalizations

We have completed the annual hospitalization rate study for members who activated in 2008 and completed at least six months of Bridgehaven services during 2008-09. Once again, the results this year are astonishing. Only nine (9) of these members were hospitalized during their first six months to one year at Bridgehaven. This represents an 82% reduction in hospitalizations. The decrease in total hospital days per year was 92% and represents 1,465 days.

A reduction of 1,465 total days represents a cost savings of at least $1.2 million!
